Adjudicator's Remarks:

Very good opening, excellent troms.  Well played cornet.  Timp early 7th of (A).  Well done horn.  Excellent unison cornets and the rest of the band so incisive.  Good percussion.  Well balanced cornets at (I) and so well in tune.

Elegy:  Again very well to begin cornets and now a lovely singing euph, joined in fine style by the sop.  It all sings along beautifully and a great crescendo into 3 bars before (N).  Here lovely lines from euph & flugel.  Lovely control side-drum.

Finale:  Incisive to open, excellent stuff.  Excellent unison playing.  Well balanced horns and excellent tuning.  Great dynamic control throughout.  Great sounds from the band at (CC) and a terrific finish.

Very well done.  Great ensemble and musically delivered.

John Berryman
